About the Blog
We live in an area obsessed with technology. Consumers identify themselves by the products they buy. Math Men have overthrown Mad Men. And technology companies know more information about consumers than consumers know about themselves.
Despite the vast future of technology, European governments are attempting to regulate tech companies and create policies to protect consumer information. Other countries are looking to the region as a model for tech policies.
This blog will take a deep dive into the future of data privacy and cyber security in Europe. I will primarily focus on the efforts of England's government; however, there will be times when I will post about other countries or other events happening to technology in Europe.
I believe the public needs to be informed and engaged with the these topics.  Over the years, our internet consumption as increased, and as technology improves it will be important for us to understand our rights when it comes to data privacy and cybersecurity.  It's crazy to think, but this is just the beginning.
